Make sure you turn 2factor on. A month or three ago w/e I had someone or a bot send dms via my account and then delete the conversations and block the accounts; I barely caught it from happening, it was almost unnoticed. Now, there seems to be a bot farm using hacked accounts. Bluesky's now a 🎯
people w/o two factor? I made sure to turn mine on, not realizing it was even a feature yet, semi recently but still a while back when I think someone got into my account and sent messages like dms to people, so it could be a super charged version of that.

I've said it before & I'll say it again: designers of 2factor authentication should be required to hotdesk for work, and have to login at least twice a day. Bonus points if they work in a building w troubled WiFi & crappy cell reception.
