“False Prophets and the Will of Man” Scripture says, “Prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:21). Yet today many voices—whether NAR apostles, nationalist preachers, or power-hungry movements—speak their own will and call it the word of the Lord. They twist prophecy into politics, trade revelation for influence, and preach a gospel of control instead of the cross. Peter warned, “There will be false teachers among you… in their greed they will exploit you with fabricated stories.” (2 Peter 2:1-3). True prophecy exalts Christ; false prophecy exalts men. When we replace humility with pride and prayer with power, we lose the Spirit’s voice. Return to the Word, not the will of man. “A Different Jesus” From Genesis to Daniel, Isaiah to Luke, every prophecy points to Jesus Christ — the Seed promised, the Child born, the Servant wounded, the King exalted. Every word of Scripture declares His glory, not man’s. But today, many conservative false prophets preach a different Jesus — a Jesus wrapped in flags, pride, and power. They lift up Trump, America, and nationalism as saviors of the world, but Christ alone saves. Paul warned, “If someone comes and preaches another Jesus… or a different gospel, you put up with it easily enough.” (2 Corinthians 11:4) The gospel of MAGA is not the gospel of the Messiah. The true Jesus does not seek crowds but the cross; not power, but purity; not domination, but deliverance.
