34 years ago today Madness released Madstock! Recorded at Finsbury Park on 8th & 9th August 1992. The 33,000 fans created a tremor that registered 4.2 on the Richter scale and residents feared they were experiencing an earthquake

11.02 | A song heard on campus radio

We didn't have campus radio in The Netherlands, but we organized our own festivals. I was backstage manager at our Wolpop 1992 festival in Delft, where I heard this:

"On My Radio" by The Selecter (1979 single)

Es interesante leer esas listas. Me sorprende no ver referencias de mod revival o 2Tone, como Style Council o Madness. Que se hable mal de rap no me sorprende mucho porque es una revista británica.

I do often literally cringe internally when someone tells me they’re a ‘skinhead’

Dressing like one as part of a fetish is absolutely fine but are you REALLY a skinhead when you have absolutely zero concept of where or how the look originated & can’t name a single Ska or 2tone record
You Make Us All Look Like Skinhead Trash!
