UGH this is the first year in a bit that I'm not doing a 31in31 horror movie challenge 😭
I just have too many really big things I need to focus on.

5. Eko Eko Azarak 3: Misa the Dark Angel
Like 2, took inspiration from another film (Evil Dead) and is bit too tame, tho not to the same degree on either count. New Misa, since it came from a tv show that started after 2. A bit silly (not complaining), and a bit more similar in plot and tone to 1.

4. Hellbound: Hellraiser II
I swear I've mostly seen this shat on in the past (even if held far above the later sequels), but searching online now I'm mostly seeing positive sentiment. That's great, because I love 2. Such great imagery, matte painting work, and still feels in line with the first.

11/31
Halloween II (1981)
I think I actually like the sequel slightly better than the original.

9/31
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
Not the best acting, but definitely ahead of it's time with the creep factor. A genuine original horror concept at the time.

Starting on the Anaconda sequels for SEQUEL-A-THON II. I've not seen any of these. Wish me luck!

2. One Missed Call (2003)
On one hand, it's a j-horror film that takes the best aspects of Ring, Ju-On and general "Japanese isolating tech horror" but doesn't do much with them. On the other hand, it's a lot of fun on its own merits, is weirdly funny at times, and gets a bit gonzo toward the end.

Let's do an October Halloween horror marathon thing: #31in31
1. Hellraiser
Playing the Revival demo made me wanna reread The Hellbound Heart for the first time in forever, which in turn made me wanna rewatch one of the greatest horror films of all time. Super stoked for the game!
