It should be acknowledged that Sean O’Fearghail was a great advocate for equality & diversity as Ceann Comhairle.

Hosted an excellent event at Dublin Castle and raised the 🏳️‍🌈 Flag on the lawn of Leinster House.

His successor should take note.

We caught up with lots of our newly-elected TDs on the plinth as they arrived in Leinster House, to hear what today means to them. They include the only TD born this century; several first-timers; a married couple; some with parents who were TDs & a few just delighted to be back! #34thDáil
