At Kennedy Space Center astronauts have to take elevators to the top of launch pad towers in order to enter their space capsules before lift off. This is the elevator panel at Pad 39A.

Meanwhile, at good old pad 39A, SpaceX is removing the crew access arm, so no more human spaceflight capability from this pad.
Only LC-40 (SpaceX) and LC-41 (ULA) are currently compatible with human (orbital) spaceflight.
39A will be focused on Falcon Heavy.
and Starship....at some point, maybe.

It annoys me more than it should that NASA leases Launch Complex 39A to SpaceX. That pad holds so much history dating back to the Apollo Program and it should be where Artemis is launched from.
