I love Knies but having Cowan/Marchenko as a top 6 winger pair with Roslovic on the 3rd line is almost certainly a net positive over Knies/Roslovic in the top 6 and Cowan at 3LW.
Really going to come down to what the other pieces are and what that extension looks like.
