Today I have a visit from @3dsets they brought me their latest creation, specifically the 3d printed boat, and as always I have to take my hat off to how incredibly detailed and precise the model is and how great it works 😍 and again, as is their custom, it is possible to print on a @Prusa3D Mini 🤯

theyre not cheap, but the detail and effort that goes into the design, printability etc seems worth it from the people ive seen with them.

I am currently #3dprinting this mini 4x4 RC truck from 3dsets. Once the main body is printed the smaller sections take a few hours so easy to do a bit each night. Very good instructions and all parts oriented correctly and pre supported 😁

After building my 3D printed Hello Kitty tank, I went looking for something else. I ran into 3Dsets 3dsets.com They have a wide variety of models you can buy, print and build. Here is their Model 6: Rancher 4×4 Wagon - just finished this morning! Lots of great detail and fun to build!
Holy crap it’s finally finished! Between the two it’s about 400hrs on the printers. But the 3DSets Toyota and camper are officially finished!
And I need to fix the Toyota because the gearbox broke and so did a door hinge. When they say to use PC filament, they mean it.

Interior is done on the 3DSets Toyota. VERY cramped install for the electronics. I had hoped for a test drive today but the new-in-box battery has a dead cell. So have to exchange at the LHS tomorrow.

The 3DSets Toyota continues, I really had a blast using the MMU to do the dash colors. The more I use the MMU the more reliable it gets. 74 color changes in the dashboard with zero issue.

This 3DSets Toyota is turning out more substantial than I expected.
I’m seriously enjoying it but man I’m having to run all three printers pretty hard to make progress. I’m flummoxed that some people have done nearly the whole lineup.
