3phase is standard, or so I thought.

@ideetje9.bsky.social I would assume it’s not the number of people, but rather demanded capacity. Where you could once connect a house with 1 phase & single-digit amps because only light & maybe a simple washing machine you need now at least 3phase & 16A, more if EV load is intended.

y lay 3phase in 150/200m trench sections, couple the sections together and bury the connection in loops, w/ only 2” post markers?

I like fronius, I have a 8.2kW Symo 3phase. Still pumping after 5.5 years. It’s one that have full local real time monitoring and api. I’ve rigged it up so I can ask Siri on my HomePod speaker in the kitchen if I can run the dishwasher. It checks if at least 2kW are being exported then says yes.

I'd agree but infrastructure is even bigger challenge. Contractors could burn easily 2000lts of fuel per day while working 24hrs so downtime for charging is next to impossible & would need to be 300kw+
I do think we could in yard work but would need 3phase cheaper than current orrrrrr...off grid 3p
