Replacement UPS swapped in. It is eerily quiet in my office with all the computers turned off. And whatever 3ware settings I fiddled with last time I had to reboot it have it successfully cold starting with all 4 drives active. So, yay!

I once had the hubris to backport the scsi stack from 2.4.28 to 2.4.18 to work around a performance problem with 3ware RAID controllers.
By the time I actually got it working 2.4.34 had been released and that resolved the issue. *shrug*

@selea Jag har en gaaammal 4U Supermicro med 3ware kontroller och SAS backplane som bara står och samlar damm. Kan vara lite för potatis för annat än enbart bulk store.+ att den står i Skåne 😅

Got my old Tyan S2466 server (2003, 2x AMD MP 2400's) running on MX Linux - Fluxbox with just 2 gb ram. Hasn't had network access for years until now since the other boot drive is a duel boot Win2k/WinXP system. Even the old 3Ware controller and it's 3 drives are recognized and useable!
