Even commercial airliners leaves little to no wreckage when they hit the ground in a nose-dive. We are talking about 400mph+ resulting in scattered fragments.

It is theoretically possible that extremely localized, brief instantaneous gusts, could have exceeded 300, perhaps even close to 400mph

An 86 year old man in Sacramento has gone 300 mph at Bonneville salt flats. He is now building one that can go 400mph. We took away mom's car keys at that age, She only drove 2 miles to country club to swim in Hawaii. But had a lot of minor accidents.

Wow, great but not quite as amazing as a British Tempest pilot in WWII, getting its wing under a V2 doodlebug at 400mph and tipping its wing so it crashed harmlessly into a field.
A Ukrainian MiG-29 shoots down a Russian Geran-4 attack drone in the skies of Kyiv Oblast with two short bursts from its 30mm GSh-301 autocannon. With only 150 rounds in its magazine, the autocannon can fire for at most 5-6 seconds (maybe 10-15 bursts?). Superb piloting skills.

To defeat V-1 cruise missiles, only moderately faster than Geran-5s at 400mph, Allies deployed 1,600 40mm and 94mm (3.7") flak guns in UK. Once integrated with radar, these killed 60-80% of V1s averaging just 100 shells per kill. That's in 1944-1945!

half the time there's no way they're flying higher than 3000ft at less than 400mph. it's goofed to all hell. go do this to cities that haven't had their govt send in the troops to murder them and occupy them yet. cities you haven't katrinad yet. maybe white ones outside of cancer alley? just an idea

I've seen literal ground zero videos of the planes hitting. Not only are memories flawed but so is logic. 737s are big planes. Them hitting buildings at 400mph + loaded with jet fuel is a problem.
