Fragments of the Old West survive in an ever-changing world. Two days of intense inspiration were as long as it took Texas-born songwriter Dallas Burrow to record his latest album, “The Way the West Was Won”. Experience must play some part in it. Burrow got his first guitar at age ten, inspired by both his father’s own playing and songwriting.

Dallas Burrow conjures cowboys and smokey poker rooms with Ray Wylie Hubbard in his newest single ‘Read ‘Em and Weep’. This is the first single from the Texas stalwart’s new full-length album "How the West Was Won". The record was recorded in two quick days with famed producer Lloyd Maines at the helm. Like the best of the Lone Star State’s songwriters, Burrow fills his storytelling songs with small details that bring the characters that inhabit them to life in three dimensions.
