I think I'll be swapping back to my 2.2" monster tyres asap 🙂 (I thought that since I was riding 120km, with nearly half on the road, the 35mm (45psi) would be the better choice, but I won't be making that mistake again for a while (at least until we get some sustained rain)

And, as it's getting dark, I'm back inside! All snow tires are on and at snow tire pressure (they will apparently take 45psi, certainly were awful to drive on at 25 or so, trying 40) and a log's on the fire and tire change day is over! :D let it snow, let it snow… how many hours was that?

Pressurized gas! My Advanced Firefighting for Mariners practical had 3 flange gas fires at line pressure and 2 gasoline flange fires at 45psi simultaneously on one Pump Room wall. That was some hot shit. Two teams. One to blast the flames away so the 2nd, could get to the shutoff valves. Enjoy!

Just remember to pump up the rear Desert Duelers to 45psi

Exploding a 1 kt warhead 150 m above ground will create 45psi overpressures at horizontal distances from ground zero up to 170m, so you can do some maths if you want. For a frontline, tactical use anything beyond 50kt doesn't make much sense (unless you have a really lot of nuclear munitions)

I.e. basically a very soft targets with a really*significant* dispersion, usually in open terrains. You need to destroy enemy defensive positions, equipment, soldiers. To destroy the equipment you need overpressure of at least 45psi.

Tubes and narrow rims, have ridden that a ton, and when I did even being much lighter I had to run around 40-45psi, much lower and hitting a rock on a grass course or a pavement transition was an instant pinch flat.

But the knobs on there should still grip pretty well at that pressure
