Voici la galaxie spirale NGC 4651, à peu près de la taille de notre Voie lactée, avec son parasol stellaire qui s'étend à ~100 000 années-lumière d'elle, résultat d'une petite galaxie satellite déchirée par les forces de marée gravitationnelle de NGC 4651.
