I'm not sure what you are talking about. Most L2 home chargers for EVs cost more like $500.

They typically charge at 240V and 40-50 amps, so you get about 30-40 miles of range per hour of charging.

If you have more power available, like a 48amp circuit, with double the power you’ll charge for about half the time.
