Deliberately understaffing mission critical jobs has to be one of the most evil parts of this era.

It’s the end of an era today as @sfmta_muni retires the last Breda light rail car. The Breda fleet served Muni for 30 years and over 10 million rides. Now they’re being replaced with LVR4s, which are 4x safer and more reliable than Breda cars. Bye, Bye Breda, hello to even better Muni service!

One of the things I'll always give Amplitude credit for is trying to solve some of the fundamental problems in the turn based 4X genre and the Neolithic era -> Ancient era part of Humankind is a legitimately great solution to Civ's start position biases and save scumming bad ones
The culture switching mechanic and tying them to ages in Humankind was an attempt to make victory conditions more varied by tying them to points/era stars so if that's absent they're actually just stealing shit from Amplitude without realizing why Amplitude is doing what they're doing
