20yrs ago I was about to ETS from the #USArmy in Germany after deploying to Tikrit, Iraq, #OIFII, with #1stInfantryDivision aka #BigRedOne. We had relieved #4thInfantryDivision the year prior, they found Saddam 13DEC03. (We were supposed to deploy* from Turkey in 2003, but nixed.)
