Believe it or not I turn fifty at the end of this year and I've decided to challenge myself by reading 50 books for the fifty years I've been drawing breath. Can any of you recommend a book to read from each published year beginning 1975.

Just a note on 50books. It's a great resource but you're expected to use the search function and not ask beginner questions you can easily find. They also have a most of their conventions posted on youtube for free.
