There is no measurable reason for this policy to be introduced.

about 1990 i climbed 3 sides of nelsons column after a boat party on the thames (the 3d relief bits) - i got nicked when i got down by 2 coppers for D&D & a 50quid fine - marylebone magistrates court the following morning was fun when the charge was read out ;)

One thing I'd add. Leinster has hosted 19 knockout games in the last 5 seasons in both competitions. Usually sell outs or 40k+ , when you toss in 50quid a ticket avg. U can quickly see why the financial gap has grown. Some of the gates are shared obviously but it's the sheer number of knockout games

But I can fly to Barcelona/Italy for £50quid (4 hours min wage) next week.
Could probably get a hotel for £60 quid. Low prices still exist which benefits many people, just different people who are feeling the squeeze.
