Agreed. Green lost by 52K votes. Bill Lee won the seat in 2022 by 550K. There was progress in a deep red state that is a testing bed for GOP policies.

I live in WA. Our secretary of state is estimating 550k uncounted ballots, and while our late counted ballots often push things to the left I'm doubtful that this is going to reverse based on which counties the remaining ballots are in. I hope it does somehow, but my hopes aren't incredibly high

Florida - GOP will have about 700-750k more voters than Dems. There will be about 1.85M others. If partisans all vote for their parties then other has to break more than 2-1 for Dems 1.3m to 550k (70%). Seems unlikely from what I can tell but would love to be wrong.

You can make the EC work better by expanding the House to about 625 seats. Make WY and RI the baseline, one rep for about 500K to 550K people. CA jumps to 72/73 seats up from 52. Backtesting shows this would have fixed most - except 2024
