Your welcome! And the furnace turned off so I went back to get another measurement. Right next to the device, it was ~55db. on the floor about between 30-40db. It is clearly quieter than the gas furnace.

über die app kannst du nen "outdoor silent" modus einstellen, laut aussage anderer immernoch "warnehmbar" im umkreis aber schon sehr sehr leise. ich kanns selbst nicht gut beurteilen mit meiner dach situation hier

I had no idea these chips had a four quadrant multiplier, it’s even quite good. Supposedly 55dB carrier suppression and I can believe it. Here it’s doing a very acceptable job of DSB-SC

A late night comedy news show did a piece on housing costs and one of their things was this 7 million € noise wall built between a railway and a new development. Because you can only have 45bd of noise for a new development (55db if it’s road traffic 😭)

Exakt. Es war so sinnlos.
Hab bis eben gepennt. Neben Klimaanlage an bei 55dB kein Problem. Wenn Akku leer, dann werd ich zum Stein. Wird im Alter noch schlimmer mit dem Stress.

I think an EV tyre noise is about 55db at 20mph. I roll down my windows* when pulling out from my street and I can hear cars far further away than that.
* visibility is crap, I tend to see cyclists above the roofs of parked cars.

I would expect that's a clear code violation. My city doesn't allow nuisance noise above 55db

Die Aussengeräte kommen auf etwa 40-55dB während PKW etwa 70-75dB verursachen. Die standard Umgebungslautstärke beträgt etwa 40dB. Eine Steigerung von 10dB bedeutet eine verdopplung der Lautstärke!

Nur mal zur Einordnung. 55 Dezibel ist ein lautes Gespräch oder Windstärke 5! 50db ein normales Gespräch. Staubsauger ca 70db.
Es muss schon viel passieren damit 55db bei dir im Wohngebiet ankommen.
Schattenwurf hingegen ist sehr speziell. Prinzipiell leidest du früh und spät darunter?
