Remember 5Pointz, the Institute of Higher Burnin' curated by Meres? In the early 2000s I often combined my visits to MoMA PS1 in Long Island City with 5Pointz, where I particularly loved photographing B-boy battles.

The 5Pointz Aerosol Art Center, mainly referred to as simply 5 Pointz, was an American mural space at 45-46 Davis Street in Long Island City, Queens, New York City. When the building opened in 1892, it housed the Neptune Meter factory, which built water meters.

A graffiti mural timelapse video I shot and edited back in 2009 when the 5Pointz graffiti spot in NYC was still in existence. Artists Demoe and MAP helped our production crew out with this mural for a music video shoot and this timelapse was my way of thanking them. #graffiti #mural #5pointz
