Caught on 720nm: the phantom ascends.
No reflection, no heartbeat—just an echo in IR light.

A haunting black-and-white image captured with an infrared DSLR conversion using a 720nm IR filter. A cloaked figure, possibly a vampire, ascends a stone stairway framed by ancient stone walls and tangled overgrowth. The foliage glows with an ethereal luminescence, characteristic of false-color IR rendering, while mist coils around the steps. Bats fly overhead toward a sky lit by an unnatural, silvery radiance. The figure casts no shadow and appears translucent in parts—suggesting it was only visible to the IR sensor. The image exudes a surreal, spectral atmosphere with reversed foliage tones and a dreamlike gothic quality. This image was generated using an open-source model (based on FLUX.1-schnell) via perchance.org, employing a layered text prompt. Post-processing in Lightroom increased resolution, and the final JPEG reflects deliberate prompt engineering and refinement. Distribution is for non-commercial creative use only.
