Working on a pupalsona based on a miniature American shepherd, a snowberry clearwing hawkmoth, and various types of garnets. Not sure what butt I want them to have in their larval stage 🤔🐛

#888xiiart #Pupals #Pupalsona
Digital sketch of an original pupal character. A Pupal is the fan mascot of Féileacán Cú, a predebut Vtuber, Pupals are a mix of a dog and butterfly/moth. This sketch shows the pupal in it's larval (caterpillar) stage. There are three variations of the pupal's larval stage design. The first one has a butt based on the abdomen of a mature snowberry clearwing hawkmoth, the second has a butt based on the snowberry clearwing hawkmoth caterpillar, and the third is a butt based on the miniature American shepherd. This pupal is based on the brown coloration of a miniature American Shepherd. It is a warm chocolate brown with lighter orange accents and a white belly. The crystals on its collar and along its back are based on various types of garnet, ranging from a deep red to a bright lime green.

Will I ever stop loving this piece? No.
Will I ever play Genshin again? No.
Will I ever stop being down bad for the Wangsheng Ferrylady? Absolutely not.

#888xiiart #GenshinImpact
Digital artwork done in a watercolor and ink style. In the foreground there is a fantasy version of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's Ferrylady from Genshin Impact. She is meant to resemble the Ferryman from Greek and Roman myth that transports lost souls to the afterlife, across the River Styx. She is holding a wooden staff with glowing, golden butterflies and Silkflowers at the top. Behind her are glowing souls of the dead, inspired by the souls from Tsurumi Island in the game. Behind that are layers of fluffy clouds and a bright full moon in a starry night sky.
