Well, the Internet had a good run, but Seattle Bike Blog is ready for the shift to MechCore. The 900mhz range has been without bike news for too long.

Looks like the #Meshcore repeater I put up last week above #Boise is linking our mesh with the #Seattle mesh, 386 miles... Likely Tropospheric Ducting ("tropo") #RF propagation due to our inversion layers and one over the Columbia River in eastern WA.

386 miles, 900mhz, 0.1 watt.... insane.

Decided to learn more about CRSF, the industry standard data protocol that powers drone comms links like ELRS, and wrote a parser / joystick emulation script to use my RCs with simulators without the need of USB cables or Bluetooth. Only using an ELRS 900mhz receiver hooked up to a FTDI USB dongle

Its incredibly important that we dont lose spectrum to corporate interests, especially when its spectrum that has become as widely used by amateurs and hobbyists as the low 900mhz band

This is something that will completely affect your Z-Wave, LoRa, and other smart home and IoT equipment. This company is essentially asking for the ability to interfere with existing devices in part of the 900MHz band.
Most folks are unaware of the NextNav rulemaking at the FCC, which would substantially rewrite the rules for the 900 MHz band to benefit a particular licensee (NextNav). It's a little too complicated to explain here. It has stirred up quite the hornets nest!
