The jury in an Oshawa courtroom heard a chilling 911 call made from Kyle Severin's phone on March 30, 2024, the night before Jennifer Polak's body was discovered in his Ajax basement apartment. The Crown argued that Polak had made her concerns about Severin's behavior known to his mother and others, and that she intended to end the relationship after helping him move out on March 31, 2024.
