Front view of the vintage Taxco sterling silver and abalone tie bar. The sterling has a darkened patina to an antiqued silver color. The tie clip is shaped like a long rectangle with up and down L like shapes with pieces of inlaid abalone shell in them. The shell pieces are iridescent and have flashes of different colors. Enlarged close up view of the backside end of the tie bar where the markings are. The clasp part has Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, Taxco 950, and what looks to be V Sacal. The bottom part of the tie bar itself has an eagle marking with a 3 inside of it.
