*A:LoK announcer*
New dynamic duo super hero group, Korra the avatar and Jimothy the Jimothy, takes on I.C.E. Can these forces of good teach these punks a lesson about love and respect? Whether for reform or abolition only time will tell!
Spoilers. No, even they couldn't reform them. ABOLISH ICE!

So is this just kinda ignoring A:LoK?
Because this on the surface feels like a retcon but only against LoK.

Also, Bi(/Pan?) Zuko?!!?

Agreed. The whole series was good.
Both shows are excellent as standalones. Each told its own story in different ways.
A:TLA had one overarching plot spanning all seasons.
A:LOK told stories by season. I believe this was because they didn't know how many seasons/episodes they would be allowed.

And then there's stories that have documented evidence that it's more gay than they were able to show, because it's an adaptation (coughMDZScough), or a later related work allows for more expression of that gayness (A:LOK) -or because the plot makes no sense if their relationship is platonic (YOI).

So like this also brings up the discussion of what is #Anime. I think all of Animation is Anime. Then there is art style and category: Japanese anime art, Chinese anime art, American anime etc.

#GravityFalls, #Dexter'sLab, #A:TLA, #A:LOK, #DragonPrince, #She-Ra. They're Anime frankly.

A:LoK was at it's worst when they were going for a teen drama angle. I've seen too many shows go from good to mid from focusing too hard on shipping for fan service.

I agree. Nobody really appreciated the depth of A:LoK season 3.
