i don't really like that "the aafest incident" is on there like it's some obscure fact that's cool to know about. as if that wasn't one of the most traumatizing periods of my life. it feels weird to be on a list competing in popularity with one of the worst things that ever happened to me. oh well
allegedly i am on a furry music iceberg over on the everything app. i would say i don't care about it because i hate seeing any legitimacy be granted to the like 5% of people on there who tried ruining my life, but then again i'm also marginally higher on the list than some of them which is funny

playing aafest last year and now opening for the critters in seattle made me realize that i only want to create for and be inspired by other queer animals, and that definitely includes playing shows.

I nice fun news, way back during the trip to Europe for AAFest, @gojiimusic.bsky.social ended up going to the Alphonse Mucha museum and I had them grab me prints of the seasons, they were finally able to hand them off to me yesterday and now they're up on this wall space I've been saving for them.

heya! just worked with the lighting that was present :) I was doing photography at AAFest, which was really cool and enjoyable. I did some adjustments to the white balance in post, in order to get the skin tones as neutral as possible. and did do quite some sharpening too but that's about it.

Regarding AAFest Sponsor merch: Finn had agreed their only remaining involvement would be paying for and handling things they still owed, including the AAF sponsor merch. This is now uncertain, and we regret the inconvenience this is causing everyone.

yes AAfest had its issues but the overwhelming majority of those come down to it being a first time event of this scale from a relatively small team and that considered i think it was run REALLY well
the main issue was an event that happened AFTER the festival

Finn offered to step down because of really serious things that came up after AAFest. Finn willingly gave me and kez admin status in the internal server to re-arrange operations. We have been restructuring everything at the best pace we could since September. Like 90% of new team were our artists.

I played AAFest and watched like 80% of the the next day. The event actually mostly went well. There were a lot of complaints bubbling up about Finn after. The staff did a lot to organize things, most of the artists consistent complaints were with Finn’s behavior and some bad AV practices.
