The biomass plantations were overharvested, so we lost almost the entire land carbon sink. The plantation forest industry ruins the ecosystem and pollutes the water.

When you ask citizens, most want climate action and nature restoration. They want regulation and fair sufficiency policies.
It's not about the lack of legitimacy, but the apprehension of the political and economic elites and corporate lobbying.

All the necessary 21st century mobility and transport solutions such as the bus (stop), bikes in covered bike parking and the Intercity train fit in the same picture at Joensuu train station. A dedicated cycling lane adds to the mix.
