This morning's Yellow-barred Brindle NFY, which I swear lost some of its green colouration between potting and being removed to be photographed this afternoon. Perhaps it appeared greener at 4:15 this morning because it was dark outside. 🤔 #teammoth

This morning, while checking the moth habitat, I spotted a new moth: a green Yellow-barred Brindle. I had no idea I'd put its caterpillar in there last year, along with various others. I throw in a bunch of plants from all over my garden and hope for the best. I like a surprise. #teammoth

Yellow-barred brindle (Acasis viretata) spotted resting on window couple days ago. First for garden. Still more greenish than yellowish so relatively fresh: colour fades fairly quickly as moth ages. Bungay, Suffolk, England.

There were x4 moths around my garden trap at midnight, all NFY: Sallow Kitten, Common White Wave, Yellow-barred Brindle and Garden Carpet. Managed to snap them all by the trap-side last night. Not too much more this morning and no other NFY. Surely it has to pick up soon! #teammoth #vc55moths

so I did some debugging and found this was actually caused by my capture card driver, so I sent a detailed support email and they already (hopefully) fixed it??? best customer service ever tbh.
