May-Oct 2026 May 29: Phyllis L. Mable Emerging Leaders Institute This Institute for entry-level professionals includes group discussions and individual mentoring with faculty. Chinyere will present a keynote entitled "Rooted and Rising: Anchoring Transformational Leadership Without Burning Out" which will focus on political pressure, institutional turbulence, and rising exhaustion.

Dr. Chinyere Oparah is the Founder and CEO of the Center for Liberated Leadership, where she provides executive and trauma-informed coaching, leadership development, and organizational strategy for higher-education and mission-driven leaders. With 30+ years as a professor, dean, VPAA, and movement builder, she brings deep expertise in leading change in volatile, politically charged environments; building high-trust, high-performance teams; fostering equitable campus climates; creating community-driven strategic plans; and guiding organizational restructuring with compassion. A sociologist and justice-centered activist scholar, Dr. Oparah developed the Liberated Leadership paradigm—a humanizing, purpose-driven approach to transformational leadership—and created NeuroSpicy Leaders to support autistic and ADHD leaders.
