PRT asked specifically for two stops and also a shortcut to the layover spot, the airport refused to do both. It's not PRTs fault in any way. I say this as an ACTC member, we heard about this a few months ago.

Instead ACTC and MTC have focused Oakland bus improvements almost exclusively on another large, infrastructure-heavy and decades-long BRT project along a trunk line — this time San Pablo Ave.

For clarity, the PATH Act, which requires IRS to hold Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC)-related refunds until mid-February, is *not* a new law. The refund piece took effect on January 1, 2017.

This is supposed to be part of the primary San Pablo Ave “parallel” bike route through Berkeley. I will be following up w ACTC to try to get them to fix these issues via their additional project starting construction in 2027
