Tomas and Kimba are rarely seen apart. Born in a circus and separated when Tomas was taken to a zoo, the brothers were reunited at ADIWS. They are never far apart and when Kimba was taken into hospital there was an amazing greeting from Tomas on his return. #ADIWS

OUR RESCUED GOSLINGS GO FREE. The Egyptian geese were rescued by our local SPCA and brought to ADIWS where we nursed them back to health and this week they were released at the lake. Perhaps they will join the other wild geese and fly through during the year and come to visit us.

AZIZA, OUR QUEEN FROM KUWAIT. Since her arrival at the ADIWS last year, Aziza is the most transformed of the #Kuwait6 lions becoming assertive, inquisitive and confident. She gets a lot of exercise bounding about her habitat, leaping on platforms and chasing enrichment. #ADIWS

Sasha Tiger has moved into her new 2.5 acre habitat at ADIWS, with completed house, platforms, dens and pools! She will be closer to her tiger family. Her previous habitat is being converted into a quarantine unit for all big cats arriving at ADIWS like #GoliathAndCoralie who will be arriving soon.

Kesari knocks a treat off his platform then gives his chin a rub. The huge lion was driven out of his pride and could have been purchased by a trophy hunter at auction but Pretoria Zoo waited for a home to be found, and Captured in Africa reached out for a place for him at ADIWS.
