Young people who are non-speaking, sometimes speaking or communicate differently aged from 16 to 35 years and their supporters can take part. They should have made or be getting ready to make a support agreement under the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015. What will people taking part have to do? People taking part in this research will have to tell Clíona things like who helps them to make decisions, what role under the new law they picked, what was easy or hard about learning about it or getting it set up. Most involuntary service users would qualify for a legally binding AHD under the ADMCA for at least part of their admission. Should AHDs become common practice, binding AHDs will play a significant role in inpatient psychiatric care.

The President of Association of Digital Media Core Advocates ADMCA, who doubles as the Convener Anambra Independent Media Conference, Dr Chuma-Odili Harris a.k.a Ogene Ndigbo, has urged Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo to forge ahead with his efforts to make the state a model for others. In a Media Conference hosted in Awka by ADMCA on Tuesday, Dr Chuma-Odili Harris urged the Governor to remain focused on improving the lives of common men and not be distracted by the “plot” to derail his administration.
