Hell, even in Watchmen, the only 'hero' really just in it for the punching was the Comedian, and it was clear he was not supposed to be admirable. The REAL villain was the guy who acted like he wants Batman to act, giving up fighting crime directly after realizing you can't punch systemic failure.

Most striking of all is that this is explicitly a very *pro-politics* speech, a direct rebuttal to the anti-politics that is so widespread. And rightly so: politics can change things, it is an admirable thing to choose to engage in and a duty for us all to step forward and pursue.

Ngl, seeing a couple of women bringing insanely popular play party and free education opportunities to us after knowing their venue horror stories is particularly gratifying. It’s nice to see bullies lose piles of money, customers, and goodwill to admirable women those bullies will never be like.
