We were delighted to receive the #AHECS Employability Award for Supporting Students and Graduates' Employability at the gradireland Employability Awards recently.
The award was for our International Student Support and strong collaboration between students, academics, employers and the CDC.

Nicola O'Brien (UTS ) in this #AHECS panel commented that it is very difficult to engage via text....people don't read more than a ten word headline. Disappointingly, she declared that she has no intention to become a security influencer on TikTok 😆but did give props to the UTS social media team.

#AHECS panel discussion: Example given of an Aotearea/NZ institution which actively reports back to individuals who are the first to report a phishing attempt, detailing the positive (or damage limiting) effect their action has had.

At #AHECS, Steph de Hoog, CQ university, was talking identity, mentioning that it's no longer just about humans but also machine identity. Interestingly, identity as a responsibility appears to be moving from their traditional place in operational control to being a cybersecurity responsibility.
