#AI-SlopBots
Meanwhile the mods allow BlueWave slopbots who follow 50,000 people and spam AI memes in replies around, go out of their way to ban trans people at Jesse Singal's request and otherwise accommodate transphobes, instaban every Palestinian account, throw tantrums that this isn't a crypto-Nazi site...

imagine having the gall to call AI slopbots “artisans”.
Incredible ad in Union Station in DC.

who needs ai slopbots when we have "aspiring artist! :D" who's just tracing shit and reselling it as if it was a "commission"

Which is it, slopbots?
October 23, 2024 at 9:06 PM
While we're on the subject, if this is the absolute best they can do for an "AI actor," I don't know what anyone's worried about.

It looks and sounds terrible, exactly like all the half-assed slopbots that have infested every customer service line in existence.

I will continue to say this until the market changes for better (lol)- you are not only competing with hundreds of other real people when job searching/applying for jobs, but also hundreds of AI Spam/Slopbots.

I was unemployed for 6 months and applied for 800+ roles until i landed one.
My soror shared this note from a university hiring manager. The market isn’t just wrecked. I don’t think this is just a recessionary pullback. 2,000 applications for one higherEd job is 100% a sign of a structural failure. It’s so horrible. I’m sorry.

Insane how The Twilight Zone has an episode about the dangers of letting a fortune telling machine do all your life decisions and letting it make you go crazy

This was 1960, many decades before AI slopbots were invented

Very ahead of it’s time, damn

I’m really grooving on the idea of dimwit Republican legislators getting so bored out of their skulls by their own home districts that they spend all their time talking to AI slopbots and end up talking themselves into Medicare For All and universal basic income

That would be a... no.

Ah, Amazon. Where resellers let their AI slopbots play the lottery for them with books I can barely give away.

Ich bin auf einer Liste "MAGAliban". "MAGA Trash". "MAGA Trolls".
Und "Naive AfD Unterstützer:innen Honeypot".
Ich.
Das finde ich putzig.

"AI Hater" und "Wrong about AI/Bitcoin/..." lawl. Slopfanatiker wollen mir erzählen, ich würde Slopbots falsch einschätzen? 😂

*Gray Zone AI-powered killer drones #predictingthepresent

*Bound to make the prospect of AI more popular, when they're not merely disemploying people but actively rubbing-them-out

*Is there a term-of-art for this, "killer slopbots," maybe

"Slopswarms"

*Soon to be deployed in US firing squads

This entropy is happening with Pixiv on the JP side, too, with a lot of folks wondering where to go to not have to worry about slopbots

I want to re-propose the 2000s solution: websites with password-locked galleries. The passwords are obvious for humans to guess but not AI
It's fascinating to read this and then be able to accurately pinpoint exactly when OP was on Deviantart. Ironically when clubs were introduced was when a lot of us were already starting to leave and feel like it was starting to go to shit!
November 17, 2025 at 5:19 AM
Tcrf is like, one of the best websites on the entire web, and it's so indicative of where humanity is going that ai bros keep trying to take it down just because they can't scrape everything on it for their slopbots
September 9, 2026 at 10:44 AM
we finally got to the "bias in the system" section of the workshop and ahaha it's about how slopbots can help you overcome your own personal biases

"because the AI cannot see what the person being interviewed looks like..."

i feel like this should be a crime
yeah this really feels like it's going to end up landing on "don't be biased against your slopbot co-workers"

right now they're talking about good vs bad prompts
September 4, 2026 at 4:10 AM
these pens are real. They exist. People have been using them for decades. There are no "ai employees" aren't a thing. It's just slopbots.
January 22, 2026 at 1:37 PM
ebay's gone full AI slop - AI slop ads, AI slop descriptions, AI slopbots... pretty grim
April 20, 2026 at 12:54 PM
People.

All the moderation here is done by AI slopbots.
August 4, 2026 at 8:00 PM
*That's an interesting AI-robot reframing there

"Zuck doesn't buy robots, he buys human movement data. Algorithms will have bodies."

*He enjoys replacing human Facebook-users with slopbots, so why not replace the Meta labor force with the abstracted work-motions of the Meta labor-force
May 2, 2026 at 6:37 AM
not realise, not consider it, not care, idk which one it is
people like that are just so high up on their bullshit horse, possibly ai powered bullshit horse, they think they are like a better kind of human because they have money. and their slopbots confirm any delusion of grandeur
October 2, 2026 at 5:42 AM
nooooo but there are so many different useful and interesting aspects to machine learning and people should delicately pick their way through all the nuance contained in the term "AI" even though the slopbots are what is being rammed down their throats at every possible opportunity
November 26, 2025 at 5:10 PM
This is not an otter, though, it's regurgitated slop from an "AI".

I bet you would have a great and fulfilling adventure, though, if you gave up the slopbots and went and took your own video of a real otter? I'd love to see that. 😃
July 12, 2026 at 1:25 AM
So many stereotypes you could replace a huge swath of BGG users with AI slopbots and you'd never notice the difference
February 7, 2025 at 4:45 PM
Also, I hope that "AI slopbots" becomes a widely used term, the kind that shows up in a crossword puzzle in mid-2025.
