#AI-Washed
These AI commercials don't even have the juice of the crypto ones of 2022. AI is totally washed. Good lord.

ChatGPT ad shows generative AI is totally washed. Impossible to tell what it was the first half until it started saying random prompts like "write me a business plan." Two years in and they don't have a better sales pitch than "summarise this article for me." Washed!

The replacement of everything with generative AI is NOT inevitable, but it sure is if you all shrug and say "Well, it's inevitable" like your brain was washed in bad predictive SF for decades.

Per a conversation w/ @thefallingdream.bsky.social:

"AI Psychosis": ableist, saneist, makes it seem like an individual problem; washed

"AI Ensorcellment": highlights both the truth of the magico-religious commitments underlying all tech *&* the curse-like nature of systemic "AI" impositions; fire

Google missed revenue expectations by nearly a billion dollars this quarter and then said "we're going to spend $75 billion on capital expenditures." No reporting on AI revenue. Growth down across the board. Absolute joke of a company, washed beyond belief. Capitalist death cult. Shameful.

Google parent company Alphabet reported its fourth-quarter results after the bell Tuesday.

Here are the numbers.
Alphabet shares drop 6% on company revenue miss
Google reported fourth-quarter earnings on Tuesday after the close of regular trading.

Lol. AI critics vindicated, AI fans outed as morons who fall for testimonials from washed hacks and pie in the sky ad copy
Eye popping. Court just unsealed Summary Judgment motions in New York Times v OpenAI / Microsoft.
Easy to see why the AI companies had so many redactions (pink). Their own people wrote the lede for NYT, the "largest theft of labor in human history"... "more and more substitutive..." /1

Of course, Kanye is using AI to make music. He's so washed.

I just found out about the Level5 AI stuff. This is what Jibanyan canonically looks like now, he is a fat washed up chud...

It's becoming brutally obvious, esp with the Tariffocapylse on the horizon, that AI is washed, so expect to see a lot of CEOS who were AI-curious or even outright pro-AI pivoting to "Uhhh... I never liked that stuff! We won't use it!*"

*Because it doesn't work and never will

David Twohy didn't bleach the negative of PITCH BLACK (2000) in order to get the washed-out look of the alien planet without CG so you could tell me that AI is "inevitable"
Sam Raimi didn't strap a Super 8 camera to a 2x4 so you could tell me that AI is "inevitable."

My mom asked me "Have you finished those dishes yet?" I said "Xbox: Introducing Muse: Our first generative AI model designed for gameplay ideation." She smiled. She knew they were washed

Swery 65 is forever washed. For his new game Hotel Barcelona, he straight up uses AI art and voice acting for these short little videos. youtu.be/OlbWBVyYilQ?...

It's so disappointing to see that he's now slowly becoming washed up with his praise of AI, despite him being against it in the past.
May 27, 2026 at 8:34 PM
this shit's been pissing me off, the reason people are disappointed is *because* he was so respected and revered

every time people switch up on someone's body of work just because they're an ai guy now is a sign of immaturity and inability to reckon with hard truths like your goat being washed
Entirely unsurprising that Kojima is working Reffen to promote that Prada AI thing dude has always been a sucker for stuff his idols hop on. But, it’s lead to many Bluesky moments™️ with people posting the usual “erm, mgs was never good, it was saved by localization” talking points.

This is the most "My Goat is washed" moment yet in the endless ai clownshow.
Huge Scorsese fan and it sucks seeing this might be his future
Martin Scorsese is now a partner & advisor for a generative AI startup

He says he's using AI during preproduction to storyboard projects

“I’m interested in the intersection of technology and storytelling ... cinema is a young medium ... we have to be open to how it can evolve"

sadly I’ve been exposed to AI pitch decks. “Draw like this, monkey” they scream from washed out “faces” and hollow copy. I’m an asshole when it counts so I reject it with my whole chest, but there’s no surprise AI is popular with the laziest group of people: the managerial class
Freelance illustration gigs drying up. Ad agencies using Midjourney instead of hiring human artists. Costume design turned over to AI wholesale. Good work vanishing.

These are the stories of working visual artists, who describe losing jobs, wages, and hope as their clients and bosses embrace AI.
Artists are losing work, wages, and hope as bosses and clients embrace AI
Visual artists, illustrators and graphic designers share their stories about how AI is being used to lower wages, degrade work and even replace it altogether, in this installment of AI Killed My Job.

Seeing Neill Blomkamp put out a shitty AI "Movie" sucks, but the guy has been washed for a while now, he went all-in on the the crypto NFT web3 grift a while back with a game called Off The Grid that you probably never heard of (and it also used AI during development) so I'm not surprised at all.

AI transcriptions are like washing machines. Both technologies help solve a problem, but create new problems and new expectations about productivity. Washing machines are more efficient in many cases, but some items still need to be hand washed or dry cleaned.
