Jasně, já jen rádp̶i̶r̶á̶t̶í̶m̶ šířím s̶l̶e̶v̶u̶ ̶z̶b̶o̶ž̶í̶ slovo B̶o̶ž̶í̶ Pratchettovo. Když tak stačí vyhledat autora + název na sdilej cé zet, pak doporučuju Aireader (pro iOS jsem vyrešeršoval eBoox), i na 📱 se dá číst překvapivě dobře :)

But it is Cheating!

Use text to speech on your e-books.

I just copy each chapter into a text file. I then use an app, AIReader, to either read it or do text to speech depending on mood and circumstances. I drive and read at the same time.

There are lots of Free books in Project Gutenberg. I use an app, AIReader, to do text to speech and read while I drive.

My very first SF book:

Star Surgeon by Alan E Nourse

is in the public domain now.

I cheat in my old age!

I have an App, AIReader, it does text to speech on e-books. So I can drive and wash dishes or whatever while "reading".

Nowhere near as good as an audiobook but I have gotten used to the computer voice and it is cheaper.

How do you go about getting a book published? I have been dragging my feet on finishing a book idea for ages.

My trick for reading e-books is an app called AIReader. It does text to speech. So I read and drive or read and wash dishes simultaneously.

There is an app, AIReader, that does text to speech of e-books.

I do a copy-paste of web pages to a text file and then have the app read the text to me. My tree-books kept getting wet in the shower so I got a water resistant Bluetooth speaker.

I use an app called AIReader to do text to speech so I read while I drive & do other things. It doesn't sound as good as a real audiobook but it is way, way cheaper. Don't know if there is an iPhone version.

Strictly Android here though I presume that they both kind of suck.

Always cheat!

If you are not cheating then you are not trying hard enough.

Use an app, like AIReader, for text to speech to read e-books. Cheaper than real audiobooks. Read and drive at the same time.

I was trying to dodge a spaceship officer, I didn't see the tree.

the only AI voices i have experience with are from AIreader, Ms Office, and Google Maps. It's weirding me out how the current Ms Office voice puts in inflections and emphasis to sound more "natural," when I'm used to listening to the robotic Olivia. I spent at least ten years with Olivia. I miss her

I use an app called AIReader to do text to speech of e-books. It highlights the text as it reads aloud.

It is not designed to teach reading so I bet there are better apps for kids. But I don't see people complaining about school reading suggesting any such apps. Or books.
