4 AM thoughts: Today is the big #ALF40 day. Strange I'm not seeing live feeds of people celebrating in all the cities. Must be an internet glitch. It's OK. I'll just imagine it.

Digging into my own archives tonight, thought you all might like this one. #ALF40
A drawing of ALF. I can't find it online so I'm uncertain of who drew it. It seems to be posted by a "BigChrisGallery" but no guarantee that this person drew it. Anyway, I like it.

We’re so close to the 40th anniversary of ALF! It’s in only two days (or one, I posted this kind of late). I’m attempting to edit together a sort of tribute video, but in the meantime, here’s an anniversary-flavored clip. #ALF40 #ALF

I love watching ALF’s appearances on Hollywood Squares, so I just had to post this clip. Also, this gives us the lore that ALF was apparently a history major? This is contradicted by some other appearances, though.

I extended the deadline for my #ALF40 poll until this Sunday! This Monday (the 28th) will start the forty weeks of me posting everyone’s favorite things about ALF. So please enjoy this graphic I edited together in ten minutes and submit your favorite thing about the ALF franchise!
A graphic reading: “There's only a few days left to submit your favorite thing about ALF to the #ALF40 poll!” A drawing of ALF says, “Yeah, there was an extension because of the anniversary... but hurry up and submit your favorite things about the franchise! We're just short of 40 submissions and we can use all the submissions we can get!” You have until September 27 to submit! ALF is a copyright of/ is owned by Alien Productions

Another favorite, done by Jelly Soup Studios #ALF40: www.deviantart.com/jellysoupstu...
A drawing of ALF, depicted here with an exaggerated coif and eyebrows, smiling, and the end of his snout forming a heart. He's wearing a yellow and black shirt. Picture by Jelly Soup Studios. I liked this one so much it was my avatar for a long while back on the bird site.

I am hopeful that we all got the space zapping show out of our heads, so we can focus on #ALF40. I'm thinking a bronze statue, a ticker-tape parade, a new movie documentary focused on my harrowing journey to Earth, and making my birthday an international holiday would be a good starting point.

I can't say for sure it's because of #ALF40 but Cheetos futures have nearly tripled in the last few days.

I just hope all those Cheeto farmers are happy.

I second this. Why #ALF40 is not yet being recognized is a mystery to me, but it’s happening in less than 2 WEEKS. Now is the time to prepare!

I think the best thing to come out of this glorious #ALF40 celebration is ALFTV’s newsletter, in which a Q&A from Paul Fusco hinted at an appearance later this year and a possible movie in the works.
8) Will ALF ever make another appearance anywhere? Thanks. (me_in_nices_father) ALF is always ready to make an appearance. Recently we received a request to appear on the upcoming Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It's their 100th anniversary and they are reaching out to the many celebrities who appeared over the decades. Stay tuned! And NO, he won't be made into a balloon. 18) Is there any possibility of a reboot or any new ALF related cameos/crossovers? (rushio5433) Quite possibly a movie will be in the works very soon!

Came up with this random edit because I kept hearing the audio used and thought it fit ALF very well. Also, it’s five days until the 40th anniversary, so it was a wonderful coincidence. I might make a longer version later.

Caught a short bit of the Emmys last night when they were highlighting shows with milestone anniversaries this year, and although I’m not bothered by it, #ALF40 didn’t even get mentioned. But hey, at least the Muppet Show did!
