Rip out the railgun, rip out the lasers, take all the space and weight dedicated to powering the sci-fi bullshit and turn it into missiles and a full size AMDR. That’s closer to a useful ship.

It had TSCE, which is comparable to Aegis. DBR was at least as capable of SPY-1, and the Zumwalt derivatives investigated for the Radar/Hull Study could carry 14-foot diameter AMDR/SPY-6 arrays, whereas the earlier MAMDJF AoA investigated Zumwalt derivatives with 18-foot diameter arrays.
