#AMMENDMENTS
Most of his EOs are somewhere between "suggestion" and "request" but everybody just acts like he is writing laws and constitutional ammendments. It's baffling and infuriating.

if america voted for ammendments and ballot props instead of human beings we would have been socialist for 50 years already

Balanced Budget Ammendments are slop bullshit for the middlingly educated.
It sucks that running budget surpluses is basically illegal in California. It would be great if we could just save this AI windfall money for the inevitable recession instead of more or less being required to spend it.

GOOD MORNING KANSAS CITY IT'S VOTIN' TIME

August 4, 2026 at 11:33 AM
Too bad it was never codified as ammendments.
July 6, 2026 at 1:06 AM
.. THe ammendments came AFTER the war started, genius.

Major #EarthDay win 🎉: H.R. 1897, aka the Endangered Species Act Amendments Act was just pulled from house floor consideration following outcry from both Republicans and Democrats who oppose the bill.

N.b. that's the original version. I can't find if ammendments were made. Link in the alt for full document.
Just note that the reporting on this is at best "misleading".

They were getting state constitutional ammendments to ban it. An ammendment barely failed in Minnesota 52/48 in 2012.....
March 27, 2024 at 11:09 PM
Yea they did! I'm in Louisiana, and the grassroot movement over the last few weeks has been excellent. The messaging was direct and action clear. I can sleep eaiser tonight know these ammendments failed.

Yeah, the poor 2nd ammendment... What about the 1st and 5th and 14th and the 15th and the 19th and the 24th... Where's the task force for those ammendments that 🍊💩 is ignoring?

Rupert Murdoch's Fox Propaganda Newsmax and hosts have taken advantage of the 1st ammendments freedom of the press and the right to free speech by polluting the minds of the gullible with garbage and lies.

I’ll echo what others have said. The bill as is raises major personal privacy issues and needs significant ammendments.
Not a great start PM.

Herbarium labels are a special kind of magic. I love seeing who has written in little ammendments and what the plant's journey has been to get there

0% respect for Americans. They have a fascist govt running rough shot over them, medling in the affairs of others, abetting the worst genocide we've seen in modern times and all the while sitting there on top of all your ammendments and your guns. It's OK to shoot kids tho! Fucking cowards all.
June 7, 2026 at 8:48 AM
Instead of counting the ammendments, let's face the fact that they are looking at the constitution just as a piece of paper.
They might as well use it to wipe their asses with it.

I left a message for Schumer saying cloture for Ammendments that will fail was "bullshit" so I endorse salty language messages.

Just in one year, just the clean air act, prevented hundreds of thousands of early deaths. The lowest possible estimate of the benefits found that benefits outweigh the costs by 3 to 1. The most likely estimate is 30 to 1. The high estimate is 90 to 1. Ninety. Nine Zero. www.epa.gov/clean-air-ac...

I swear lately, every piece of news about some new legislation in the UK immediately makes me go:

"What the FUCK are they doing over there?"

With everything going on, and they just keep coming up with clown show laws and ammendments.
🚨 It looks like the UK government is gearing up to upend copyright law in favour of AI companies, legalising the theft of their work.

This is despite creatives' huge protests, and despite previous proposals being roundly rejected by the public.

Please spread the word.

America needs New AMMENDMENTS.
Modern AMMENDMENTS
July 22, 2026 at 9:53 AM
Unconstitutional, but they are ammendments in the constitution?
Okay, now we know the meaning of republican stupidity.
January 28, 2025 at 11:27 PM
the point of tories tableing shit ammendments like this is to weigh down the legislative process and get a few free scare mongering headlines for their media pals.

You gotta remember they're all playing their own version of 4d chess and the moves they make rarely represent what they actually want.
Even the Tory party in power last time wouldn't have taken these shitty anti trans amendments on a bill they were trying to pass (and the Tories had far right MPs putting in amendments like this all the time last govt) because back bench amendments are more about vibes than policy.

Neither were the 9th and 14th ammendments of the US constitution. But the courts understanding of what they meant did.
