Amoka’s ataxia/neurological challenges are mild. He gets around just fine and unless you look really hard you wouldn’t even notice that Amoka has any challenges at all. So if you’re looking for a really sweet, gentle, loving kitty Amoka is for you!

Funny story: After spending countless hours, including on Thanksgiving, trying to coordinate Amoka's release, vet appointment, and transport to his finder's home (so they could adopt him),... the finders decided they don't want him now. Soooo... Amoka is on his way up here.

Here’s Amoka's story: He was found by a couple in Santa Ana. They turned him into the shelter so he’d get care he needed. They want to adopt Amoka but, because of Amoka’s special needs, the shelter requires a rescue pull him and that he be seen by a vet first. So that’s what we’re working on now.
