I need to give a shoutout to the #AOTA conference that happened at the same time as #fanfest. What a wonderful bunch of people to be so warm and open-minded! I’m 99% sure I jump scared quite a few people but the interactions were always pleasant and they were quickly down to clown. 😂

Rice planting season has begun and the green kinton 'aota' (青田) conjures to mind the lush fields during the summer months.
Kinton (金団) are small balls of sweet bean paste covered in a colourful, shredded type of dough (commonly made from yam).
