Nejauši ieskatījos, kādā 1974.g zinātniska rakstura grāmatā. 1969. g. Latvijā viens iedzīvotājs apēda 26kg zivju. Pašlaik, saskaņā ar statistikas pārvaldi, saskaitot kopā svaigās un konservētās, sanāk 8.
