The heavily European-influenced basilica church, our #ScottishChurchOfTheWeek, St Margaret's, Newlands, possesses an apse at each end of the building, the ceilings of which are decorated with exquisitely colourful mosaics.
In the western apse this was by sculptors Galbraith & Winton, in 1921

ALL English ones with apses have a screen blocking the view somewhat.
