Uspješno održana završna konferencija projekta SWAMrisk: Od praćenja do akcije za otporna obalna područja
ZAGREB - **U Zagrebu je 25. rujna 2026. godine u hotelu Aristos održana završna konferencija međunarodnog projekta SWAMrisk pod nazivom „From Monitoring to Action for Resilient Coastal Areas“ (Od praćenja do akcije za otporna obalna područja). Konferencija je okupila brojne istaknute stručnjake, predstavnike akademske zajednice, vodnog gospodarstva i institucija iz Hrvatske i Italije s ciljem predstavljanja ključnih rezultata i rješenja za gorući problem mediteranskih obalnih područja, a to je prodor slane vode u slatkovodne resurse.**
Projekt se provodi u sklopu programa Interreg Italy–Croatia, a bavi se praćenjem i upravljanjem podzemnim vodama s ciljem ublažavanja negativnih učinaka klimatskih promjena i suša u obalnim sustavima. Projekt objedinjuje terenski monitoring, laboratorijsku analizu i napredno numeričko modeliranje kako bi se bolje razumjela dinamika slane vode u ranjivim obalnim područjima u prostoru delte. Kao ključna pilot područja u projektu izdvojeni su talijanski dio u prostoru delte rijeke Po (između Venecijanske lagune i delte rijeke Po) te hrvatski dio u dolini Neretve.
Nakon uvodnog obraćanja, program se nastavio stručnim izlaganjima koja su obuhvatila prekograničnu suradnju i rezultate pilot-područja. Veljko Srzić, voditelj projekta, predstavio je širi kontekst i postignuća prekogranične suradnje dok su Luigi Tosi (CNR-GEO) i Andrea Comerlati (M3E) podijelili iskustva s tallijanskih lokacija. Lorenzo Frison (Consorzio di Bonifica Adige Euganeo) pretstavio je strategiju intervencije odnosno konkretne mjere ublažavanja, a Iva Aljinović i Veljko Srzić iznijeli su specifičnosti i rezultate istraživanja u Hrvatskoj te pouke iz pilot - područja u Hrvatskoj.
Govoreći o značaju skupa, **izv. prof. dr. sc. Veljko Srzić** , voditelj projekta s Fakulteta građevinarstva, arhitekture i geodezije Sveučilišta u Splitu, istaknuo je:
- Danas održavamo završnu konferenciju s ciljem da predstavimo ključne rezultate i sve dobrobiti koje je ovaj dvogodišnji projekt donio. Osim uspješne provedbe samog projekta, ostvarili smo i izniman znanstveni doprinos na terenu, značajno unaprijedivši otpornost naših obalnih područja na negativne posljedice klimatskih promjena.
Predstavljen je i projekt zaštite od salinizacije tla i vode u dolini Neretve.
Na konferenciji je održana i panel - rasprava o ključnim izazovima i budućim akcijama za poljoprivredna područja otporna na klimatske promjene. U panelu su sudjelovali: Zdravka Sever (HAPIH), Kristian Horvath (Prirodoslovno-matematički fakultet u Zagrebu), Omar Tosatto (M3E) te Luigi Tosi (CNR-GEO).
- Glavna je prednost ovog projekta zasigurno nastavak suradnje s hrvatskim timom, čija je stručnost iznimno važna, što nam omogućuje da uspješno povežemo i nadogradimo našu talijansku ekspertizu – zaključio je **dr. sc. Luigi Tosi** , istraživački direktor u talijanskom Nacionalnom istraživačkom vijeću (CNR-IGG).
Završna konferencija projekta SWAMrisk potvrdila je važnost sinergije znanstvenih spoznaja, naprednog praćenja i koordiniranog prekograničnog djelovanja. Rezultati ostvareni u Hrvatskoj i Italiji postigvaju čvrst temelj za dugoročnu zaštitu vodnih resursa, poljoprivrednog tla i obalnih zajednica od utjecaja klimatskih promjena.

I enjoy both filmmakers' work. But I find Vaughn's ethos deeply attractive, and Ritchie's apparent view of the upper crust compellingly repellent. He undercuts the notion that aristos and gangsters are mirror images by emphasizing his hero's bloodline as innate supremacy and destiny.

Watching (and enjoying) Guy Ritchie's THE GENTLEMEN (TV edition), I'm struck by the difference between his gilded view of hereditary peerage (both his parents remarried aristos) and Matthew Vaughn's (illegitimate, disowned son of nobility) in the KINGSMAN movies. Fascinating contrast.
