Great to hear, since every C64U has several SIDs at it's whim through Ulti-SID. Personally I have a Arm2SID in mine with FM (Sound Expander) available too. I found the perfect settings for 3 SIDs and FM between the Arm2SID and the Ultii-SIDs. C64U can play Amiga MOD files too!

I'm waiting for ARM2SID to come back in stock. It's a stereo version of the ARMSID which is pretty indistinguishable from the original. The C64U's SID emulation is pretty solid, to my ear, except for some demos that use really obscure quirks to play on 6581 or 8580. www.fpgasid.de/project-upda...

I'm waiting for ARM2SID to come back in stock. It's a stereo version of the ARMSID which is pretty indistinguishable from the original. The C64U's SID emulation is pretty solid, to my ear, except for some demos that use really obscure quirks to play on 6581 or 8580. www.fpgasid.de/project-upda...

It's not the SID replacement I wanted but it'll do until the ARM2SID gets restocked.

There's a lot going on but the basic idea is to take the audio from the ARM2SID and video from the large Kawari, and pipe them into a HDMI audio embedder. Then take the HDMI output from that and route it to where the RF modulator was.

ARM2SID is really impressive. OPL2 emulation, too. The original version could emulate OPL, which was in a cartridge Commodore sold in 1985-86. www.nobomi.cz/8bit/arm2sid...
