Makes sense! I have an Asustor Lockerstor 6 Gen2 AS6706T that I'll be using as storage for my computing, gaming, and magazine archives, as well as also books, music, and videos!

I'm thinking about what to use my Asustor AS6404T for now, given that the SATA backplane is currently broken. I was supposed to use it to handle file hosting for my retro network so it didn't need to go online, but now I want to use my AS6706T for that after it gets replaced by a Lockerstor 8/10-

AS6706T needs HDDs, but I at least have filled 2/4 NVMe slots with 1TB SSDs as cache drives, as it was cheaper to do that! I also am upgrading the RAM to 32GB which should work fine with it... 64 might also work, but it doesn't officially support anything above 16GB, tho 32 seems to be a sweet spot!
